چکیده
This paper reviews five popular and emerging models for the implementation of Internet and network technology in higher education: low tech, lab, laptop, virtual, and networked systems. Three perspectives on these models--that of a faculty member at the University of Lethbridge (Alberta, Canada),_an administrator at the University of Lethbridge, and a student at the University of Alberta (Canada)--are then examined. Comments are included on the incorporation and day-to-day use of these technologies, concerns and hopes for the technologies, and the future of the technologies' roles within the greater academic and institutional environments.
